United Way?s Veterans Initiative supports our veterans and their families with job readiness, financial education, coaching and counseling, health care, basic needs assistance, the bringing together of organizations to exchange information and solve issues facing veterans, and providing dedicated veterans specialists through the 2-1-1 Texas/United Way HELPLINE. This meeting is open to social service, faith-based communities and non-profit organizations that provide services specifically to Veterans and their families in Fort Bend.
