Professor Klineberg’s public lectures generally center on his work with the Kinder Houston Area Survey, a pioneering study of metropolitan Houston and the larger demographic, economic, and cultural trends shaping urban centers across the country. While lectures can be geared toward a specific geographic region or topic, the research draws on 35 years of systematic interviews with successive representative samples of Harris County residents, tracking responses to a changing America.
