Volunteers are needed for the 2018 Fort Bend March for Babies! Who: Volunteers ages 12 and older What: Volunteers are needed to assist with setup, registration, parking, water stations, Fun Zone, and cleanup. When: Friday, April 20, 2018, 8 am – 5 pm (setup day) Saturday, April 21, 2018, 5:30 am – 2 pm (event day) Where: Constellation Field, 1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77489 Why: 1 in 10 babies are born too early. Prematurity and birth defects are the leading causes of infant mortality. In Texas, more than 403,600 babies are born every year, and the work of the March of Dimes touches each one of them, whether they are born healthy, prematurely, with a birth defect or other health complications. Every baby born in Fort Bend County receives the benefits of the work of the March of Dimes through support of community programs, including the, advocacy, research, educational programs.
