Fort Bend ISD Superintendent, Dr. Charles E. Dupre and Fort Bend ISD Director for Career and Technical Education, Meredith Watassek, will present on the challenging career pathways the Fort Bend ISD department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides for students. By utilizing real world practices and evolving skill sets, attitudes and behaviors, FBISD offers rigorous course pathways in fifteen different career clusters. With changes to high school graduation requirements passed through House Bill 5, FBISD took the opportunity to look deeply at the CTE programs offered and conducted an in-depth program review to determine how best to prepare students to become productive members of our community.
