Missouri City is gearing up to join team members from KaBOOM! and Blue Cross Blue Shield on Saturday, Nov. 10 to build a new playground in Roane Park, 1440 Turtle Creek Dr. More than 150 volunteers will join forces starting at 8:30 a.m. for a kick-off ceremony; and later that afternoon at about 2:30 p.m., a ribbon-cutting will take place in celebration of this groundbreaking project.
