Description
Each year, the Family Life and Community Resource Center (FLCRC) partners with local businesses and organizations to host this high energy, interactive community event for parents and students! The Back-2-School Parent Chat highlights important educational information and links participants with resources throughout Fort Bend County to provide a quality education to all students. Presenters will discuss key educational topics including, but not limited to, effective parent-school communication, school policies, parental involvement, and community-outreach. Attendees will enjoy an amazing keynote message, participate in interactive sessions, partake in drawings for door prizes, and receive a FREE backpack with school supplies! Registration is required to attend this event. Both parents and students must be present to receive the backpacks and school supplies. CEU credit is available to educators for a $10 fee.
